So hat sich unsere Kirchengemeinde vor einiger Zeit selbst beschrieben.
Wohin geht der Weg unserer Kirche? Welche Bedürfnisse gibt es in der Gemeinde? Welche Angebote können wir dafür machen? Wie wollen wir uns für die Zukunft aufstellen?
Diesen Fragen widmet sich der Kirchenvorstand am Samstag, den 20. Juni, in einem workshop.

Wer Lust hat, daran  mitzuarbeiten, Ideen beizutragen, Ziele und Visionen zu entwickeln, ist herzlich dazu eingeladen!

This year, our Johannesfeuer celebration is getting a little… wild.
St. John’s and Trinity are excited to invite you to a joint bilingual family event in the Wilderness at Mount Morton Baha’i Centre of Learning (Belgrave). We’re heading into the Wilderness at Mount Morton to discover John the Baptist and light a fire. He wasn’t a neat, polite preacher—he was a wild one living on the fringes.
Like the classic book Where the Wild Things Are, we’re leaving the comfortable living room (or church) behind. What does it mean for us as grown-ups to have a “wild” faith today? Is faith always a straight, cozy path, or is it a thrilling rollercoaster?

Young and old have the opportunity to get together for games, food, and singing at an outdoor church service around the campfire. While we are offering a warm lunch with a hearty soup, a sausage or falafel, and bread, we are relying on cake donations for the cake buffet. Your contributions would be greatly appreciated.

Das Schaf
Mäh, Mäh, Mäh oder doch eher Bah, Bah, Bah? Egal, unser Spielgruppenschaf ist auf jeden Fall mindestens bilingual und freut sich nächste Woche sehr auf alle Kinder und Eltern, die dabei sein wollen. Am Donnerstag, den 18/6 treffen wir uns um 10 Uhr zum gemeinsamen Singen, Spielen und Basteln und diesmal geht es um: das Schaf. Wer ein eigenes Schaf, also Plüschschaf (!) zu Hause hat, darf dieses sehr gerne mitbringen.

Refugee Week  is a unique opportunity to learn about the experiences of people who have sought refuge and asylum, to celebrate the valuable contributions made by refugees to the world and our communities, and consider how we can take action together for justice.

In 2026, Refugee Week invites us to celebrate with the theme, ‘A Million Stories’, to mark the one million permanent humanitarian visas Australia has issued since international calls in 1947 to help resettle people after the horrors of WW2. This remarkable legacy of welcome is one we should be deeply proud of, and one that has woven a rich tapestry of shared stories into the heart of our communities and culture.
Refugee Week also invites us to look to the future. How can our communities and country continue to be places of welcome and belonging for those seeking safety on our shores? How can the kindness and compassion that Jesus teaches ground and guide us in our response to the global humanitarian crisis? 

There are more forcibly displaced people in the world now than at any other point in human history. According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, 123.2 million people are currently displaced globally – around 1 in every 67 people worldwide – people fleeing for their lives, risking everything, in search of safety.
As part of Refugee Week 2026, join Common Grace and the National Council of Churches’, Australian Churches Refugee Taskforce (ACRT) for a national webinar launching the 2026 #EndTheWaiting campaign.
